Dr. Mahmud is one of two full-time Nocturnists at Alameda Hospital, a position that he enjoys and takes great pride in. He was born in Illinois, but soon after his family relocated to Southern California. He attended U.C. Santa Cruz for undergraduate studies. Afterwards he worked in market research for Allergan and Abbott, before entering St. George’s University in Newcastle, England. He completed his medical education in Grenada and New York City. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Mountain View Medical Center in Las Vegas in 2020.
