James Yeh D.O.

Dr James Yeh D.O. was born in New Jersey but identifies as a California native at heart having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He got his undergraduate degree at SDSU and Doctor of Osteopathy at Western University Health Sciences in Pomona. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco and is currently ABIM board certified. He has been a practicing Internist, Hospitalist and Long Term Care physician for over 20 years He is affiliated with several hospitals in the East Bay including Alta Bates/Summit, Alameda Health Systems, John George, San Leandro Hospital and Alameda Hospital .He has served on several committees at Alameda Hospital including P&T, infection control, Critical Care, Chairman Credentials committee, MEC as well as Medical Staff President.  He has associated faculty positions with UCSF, Touro University and ATSU-SOMA. He is currently Medical Director at several community SNF’s. He is a founding member of Alameda Inpatient Medical which he currently serves as president. When not working, he enjoys camping, fishing, fixing and tinkering and building robots. You can see him in past TV shows and events such as “Killer Robots,” “Robogames,” “King of Bots,” and “BattleBots.” He lives in the East Bay with his wife and 4 children.
