Dr. Kaur grew up in the Central Valley in a small agricultural town in Merced County, Ca. She pursued her undergraduate studies at UCLA, majoring in Biochemistry and then continued with medical school in TN. She was able to come back to California, the Bay Area, to complete residency at Highland Hospital.
She is continuing her journey in medicine at Alameda Hospital. She enjoys serving and learning from the diverse population in Alameda County. Her goal in medicine is to have a better understanding of social determinants of healthcare, the complexities of a county population and the role of preventative healthcare.
